• ADONGO FAITH

Welcome to Adongo Faith’s Crop Production Hub — a dedicated space where you’ll find practical guidance, field-tested techniques and community support to help farmers boost crop yields sustainably.

    What We Do:

Share step-by-step methods for growing key crops (such as maize, beans, vegetables) suited to local conditions in Kenya.

Provide tips on soil preparation, seed selection, pest & disease management, harvesting and post-harvest handling.

Feature success stories from small-holder farmers who have improved productivity.

Offer downloadable resources and maybe a forum or contact channel for questions and support.

    Why It Matters:
Crop production remains the backbone of many rural livelihoods and food systems in Kenya. Increasing yield and efficiency helps secure food, improve income and build resilience to climate and market challenges. (See for example research showing how diversification and good agronomic practices improve productivity in Kenya.)

Annual crops are plants that complete their life cycle—from germination to the production of seeds—within one growing season or year. After this cycle, the plants die, and new crops need to be replanted for the next season. These crops are an essential part of agricultural systems worldwide due to their quick returns, adaptability, and importance in food security and income generation.
